Launched in 2006, Daura is the world's most award-winning gluten-free beer that maintains the flavour of real beers as it is made with the same main ingredient: barley malt. All batches are analysed and certified by the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC) before hitting the market to ensure that its gluten content is always below 3ppm (well below the 20 ppm considered acceptable by the Codex Alimentarius for consumption by people with coeliac disease) and therefore ensuring absolute safety.
