Alamos Cabernet Sauvignon expresses the deep, rich dark berry fruit notes that are hallmarks of the variety, complemented nicely by slight herbal characteristics. Firm tannins and oak aging merge to add complex layers of vanilla, clove and black pepper to the wine.
Initial aromas of desert herbs and blackberries lose steam with airing. A flush palate delivers candied cherry and chocolate flavors that carry over to the solid finish.
The Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon reflects the superb vintage with its deep, saturated blackberry, black cherry and ripe plum aromas and plush, saturated flavors. Hints of violet, toast and mocha add complexity.
I love this Bordeaux white: precise, fruity, very fine and pleasant. A wine made with respect of the terroir, expression of the grapes, limited used of new barrels (giving the artificial oaky taste).
This Merlot has berry fruit characteristics with a touch of toasty caramel and nutty characteristics from the oak and has a firm layer of plush tannins. The berry fruit, vanilla, and cherry flavors are concentrated and focused boasting a firm grip on the finish. The grapes for the Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon were sourced from our vineyards in Rutherford and St. Helena, as well as select nearby growers. Our estate vineyards are located on gravelly alluvial fan soils with good drainage, necessary for growing excellent quality Cabernet Sauvignon.
