Pomegranate wine is produced by the classical process of red wines. The fermentation is stopped, when the natural sugar of the fruit has not yet dissolved, then assembled with red grape wine for a perfect balance of acidity and sweetness.
The pomegranate fruit is harvested when fully ripe, producing a deeply flavored, soft, and harmonious wine. The resulting wine is supple, tart, and fruity and has good structure and freshness.
Pomegranate semi-sweet wine stock for this wine is selected only in certain areas of Nagorno-Karabakh republic and regions of Armenia from "Aspet" pomegranate sort, which has very intensive structure.
The wine is made of a specia sort of grape called "Areni", alc. 11%.The semi-sweet wine "Areni" is made by a special technology, developed only for its processing.
