E & J Distillers is part of the Ernest and Julio Gallo winery, the world's largest family-owned winery. E & J Distillers is best known for a line of brandies but they also create a line of "Cask and Cream" liqueurs.
E & J XO brandy is their oldest brandy expression, having been aged at least 6 years in oak barrels before being bottled at 40% ABV. Produced in the US, this is usually referring to brandy distilled from grape-based wine. If the producer uses other fruit, it must be stated on the label.
