With roots in Burgundy, the Pinot Grigio grape has arguably found its home of choice in Northeast Italy. The small, pinkish-gray-skinned grape flourishes in delicate sunshine of this sub-Alpine region. Pinot Grigio has unique floral and spicy notes rarely found in other areas.
Extra dry, extra high in acidity, green apples with mineral under tones. The acidity is quite pronounced and throws of the balance a little a bit but it's still performs very well on a hot sunny afternoon in thirst quenching that palate. An ok Prosecco but certainly not the best out there.
